The model for this cuff bracelet was made using manipulated (scraped and spread) wax which was then cast in silver. I have enjoyed making these somewhat unconventional pieces as a way to let loose from the more rigid wax sculpting methods I normally practice when making most of my models and pieces. This one was really fun to make! It reminds me of the interplay between sand and water.
The cuff is cast solid in recycled Sterling Silver and oxidized to bring out its interesting textures. It can be adjusted by gently squeezing or pulling to fit your wrist. Fits a small-medium-sized wrist.
I had the original bracelet molded, so if you would like one of these bracelets cast in a different precious metal (white silver, 10k, 14k, 18k -yellow, white, or rose gold) please contact me for a price and timing.
