I made this ring way back in 2007. I used the ancient technique of cuttlefish casting to get an original in gold, made a mold, and created 2 additional silver rings: this one with a beautiful 3.5 round faceted dark blue sapphire; and another set with a purple iolite (see listing here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1073273792/sterling-silver-and-iolite-cuttlefish?ref=shop_home_active_1&frs=1 ).
The original cuttlefish cast was sort of a "happy accident". I think that the band resembles a strange sea creature, or some type of an amphibian, with a fin! What do you think?
This ring is a US size 7. It can be worn on its own or in a stack.
