This somewhat unusual ring is made from a cast of a scallop shell that my husband found on a beach on Australia's Gold Coast. The original shell had been worn down and seemed to look as though it had somehow been flattened-a perfect shape to be hollowed out and made into an interesting ring! It reminds me of a fin or a little merperson's crown.
The Scallop ring is cast in solid sterling silver. It measures approximately 2.6cm tall x 2.6 cm wide with an approximate depth that varies between 2mm-2.23mm. The ring weighs approximately 4.5 grams. US Size 5.5 or 5.75.
