I found the original twig, that I had molded to make this ring, at the base of my favorite Oak tree in the yard of my childhood home on Long Island's Northshore. When I was little I used to play on and nearby this tree all the time. I love the little buds on this twig. They remind me of the cycles of life and the promise of renewal.
This ring is cast solid in sterling silver and available with a white silver finish or heavily oxidized black. Over time and with wear, the black oxidation will wear off in places to show the detail of the twig. The width and depth of the twig vary between 1.7mm-2.7mm. It weighs approximately 1.3 grams.
This is a wrap-around ring and can be gently adjusted to US ring sizes 4.5-7. However, it is best if I adjust it to your closest size before shipping. Bending the ring too many times or too much may result in breakage.
Looks pretty on its own or as part of a stack.
