The spiral pendant on this necklace was made from a cast of a twig that somehow ended up on my childhood bed in my parents' Long Island home some years ago. It must have blown through the window somehow- off one of the surrounding pine trees. It seemed like a little gift, left there for me by an unseen hand….and so, I had it molded and cast! I have fashioned several pieces from this special twig. It reminds me of my childhood home and Long Island summers - the smell of pine trees in the sun, cut grass, and a hint of salty air too.
The spiral charm is cast in solid sterling silver. It measures 2 cm high x 1.3 cm wide x 2.2mm deep and it weighs approximately 1.8 grams.
The spiral twig can be purchased on its own (charm only) or on a 45.5 cm (18") sterling silver cable chain.
