This vintage sewing machine charm is cast in solid sterling silver. It measures approximately 1.4 cm tall x 2cm long x 1 cm wide and weighs 6.7 grams.
The very first charm was made as a custom charm, purchased by a daughter for her seamstress mother (originally cast in white gold).
I sculpted the master for the charm using photos of the client's 2 favorite machines as a reference, and also a vintage sewing machine that I had inherited from my great aunt,
I liked how the charm came out, so I made a few more duplicates in sterling silver.
