I threw this porcelain bowl on the potter's wheel using smooth white porcelain. Once the piece was leather-hard, I hand-carved the root pattern, bisque-fired it, and then applied an aqua celadon glaze to the outside and a deep red-orange high-fire glaze on the inside.
This bowl can function as a pretty stand-alone object or hold any number of things. It can hold jewelry, small precious keepsakes, garlic, shallots, nuts, or whatever your heart desires. :). All glazes are food-safe.
The dimensions are approximately 2.4" tall x 3.9" wide ( 6.2cm x 9.8cm) and the weight is 7.6 oz (.215kg). PLEASE NOTE: The listing pictures showing size are shot using cm rulers.
Please wash the bowl by hand only and please do not put it in the microwave.
