This big, weird ring was made as a fun experiment. A friend had given me a small parcel of raw lemon yellow topaz a few years back and I found one that fit perfectly into the clasped, hand-like "fingers" of this ring. The back of the band is a wide braid and the loose ends become the prongs. There is a small amount of space behind the stone to allow light to illuminate it from behind. It is one of a kind and ready to ship.
Lemon Topaz is thought to promote feelings of joy and well-being and to help banish feelings of anxiety and stress. It is also a stone said to stimulate creativity and increase mental clarity, and to attract abundance and prosperity...All the good stuff! I love its yellow glow!
The band is cast solid in recycled sterling silver and the stone is in its raw state. The stone weighs approx 3.5 carats. The band is approx. 7.7mm wide at the back with an approx 3mm thickness/depth. The ring weighs approximately 18.8 grams and is a US size 6.75.
