A solid 10k gold medallion features a Springtime Robin with turquoise eggs. It was made using a cast of an Antique Parisian Button that a friend gave to me. I modified the original design (a swallow in flight) and added cavities in which to set 3 small genuine Persian turquoise cabochons.
The medallion measures 1.7 cm in diameter and weighs approximately .16 oz (4.5 g). The robin's eye is set with a genuine .8mm black diamond and the marquise cut genuine turquoise cabochons measure approx 3 x 2mm.
